TIME CAPSULE CEREMONY Saturday, July 18
As part of Daytona Beach’s yearlong sesquicentennial celebration, the city invites residents to a special time capsule ceremony at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 18, at Fire Station No. 1 Headquarters, 420 S. Ridgewood Ave. The time capsule will preserve a snapshot of life in Daytona Beach in 2026 and will remain sealed for 100 years, to be reopened July 18, 2126. Community members are encouraged to attend and take part by writing a personal message to future generations for inclusion in the time capsule.
