STEPS ACROSS CULTURES EVENT POSTPONED The City of Daytona Beach has postponed Steps Across Cultures: A Multicultural Event, which was scheduled for July 11 at Daisy Stocking Park City staff are working to schedule a new date and will share additional details as soon as they become available. The free event will celebrate the many cultures that make up the Daytona Beach community through food, music and dance. Vendors offering cultural goods, apparel and food will also have an opportunity to participate when the event is rescheduled. Thank you for your understanding. Thank you to everyone who joined us this year for the Midtown Concert Series at Daisy Stocking Park. From the opening performances to our final concert featuring Sax Therapyst and The Remedy, we appreciate everyone who attended, as well as the musicians, vendors and city staff who helped make this year’s series a success. While the concert series has wrapped up for the season, the fun continues with Midtown Sundayz. Join us from 3 to 8 p.m. July 12 for Red, White & Daisy Blue at Daisy Stocking Park, 555 Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Blvd. The event will feature music, food and activities for the community. In honor of Independence Day, free meals catered by Greg’s Seafood will be available for veterans and active-duty service members while supplies last.
