Relax and unwind on Saturday, Dec. 20, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the YSG Cultural & Educational Center Courtyard, 1000 Vine St. This adults-only, business casual event features Troy “Sax Therapyst” and band, hosted by Jay Love. Enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres while drinks are available for purchase at the bar. FREE ADMISSION MIDTOWN SUNDAYZ Midtown Sundayz is a vibrant community event featuring live DJ entertainment, performances, food and games for all ages. The event takes place the second Sunday of each month at Daisy Stocking Park, 555 Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Blvd., from 3 to 8 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs, friends and dancing shoes for an afternoon of fun and community spirit. Upcoming 2026 dates are Jan. 11, Feb. 8, March 8, April 12, May 10 and June 14.

A 62-page booklet featuring the city’s network of parks, recreation complexes, community centers and sports and entertainment facilities has been published. It is a one-

stop guide to amenities and opportunities across the community, from playgrounds and walking trails to athletic fields, basketball and tennis courts, splash pads, pools, event rental spaces and programs. The booklet, available in print and digitally, includes a convenient directory of facilities, highlights of signature spaces, and a citywide facilities map to help residents and visitors plan park visits.

THANK YOU FOR CELEBRATING THE SEASON WITH US Thank you to everyone who joined the city for a weekend full of holiday festivities, from the Children’s Christmas Party to participation in and attendance at the Dashing Through Daytona Christmas Parade. The community came together to celebrate the joy of the season, creating memorable moments for residents of all ages. The celebration continued Sunday with Midtown Sundayz at Daisy Stocking Park. Thank you to everyone who attended the Dec. 14 event and helped make the Christmas show a success. The afternoon featured live performances, festive music and holiday cheer in the heart of the community. Residents are encouraged to mark their calendars for the next Midtown Sundayz on Jan. 11 from 3 to 8 p.m., featuring more entertainment, music and community celebrations.

MLK COMMUNITY HEALTH & RESOURCE FAIR Join the City of Daytona Beach for a free MLK Community Health Resource Fair at Daisy Stocking Park, 555 Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Blvd., on Jan. 10, 2026, from 9 a.m. to noon. The event offers health vendors, food and activities for children, making it a day of wellness and fun for the whole family. Vendor spots are free, but participants must be health-related or provide a free service to the community. Vendors are responsible for providing their own tent, table, chairs and any other equipment needed for their space.
