EASTER BEACH RUN REGISTRATION OPEN
The Easter Beach Run is back! Join us for this annual tradition that brings runners of all ages and skill levels to the shoreline for a fun, scenic race on the beach. Whether you’re sprinting for the win or enjoying a casual jog, the stunning ocean views make this event one-of-a-kind. Registration is $35 and $20 for ages 50 and older.

MAYOR’S FITNESS CHALLENGE UPDATE Last month, attendees at the Mayor’s Fitness Challenge came together for a Strength in Unity- themed workout. The challenge included a mix of strength, cardio, and core exercises that got everyone moving and energized. Participants started with a warm-up session before heading out for a refreshing walk across the International Speedway Boulevard Pedestrian Bridge. There are still six weeks left in the program.
DERBYSHIRE SPORTS COMPLEX UPGRADES Upgrades are underway at Derbyshire Sports Complex! A new parking lot is being paved behind the football field, featuring 105 parking spaces and five handicapped spaces. Crews are currently paving the lot. Once finished, they will stripe and add parking blocks to the spaces. The new lot provides parking for attendees using the football and youth baseball fields.

LEARN THE ART OF SPANISH Starting this week, at the Cherry Cultural & Educational Center, 925 George W. Engram Blvd. every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday: • Ages 6-9: 4-5 p.m. • Ages 10-15: 5-6 p.m. • Adults 7-8:45 p.m. and Saturday from 5-7 p.m. Learn to speak, read, and write Spanish, real-life conversational skills, common phrases and words. BREAKERS ENVIRONMENTAL LEARNING CENTER PRESENTATION Attendees of the Ornithology presentation learned about birds through fun activities, including using binoculars, bird anatomy and crafts. This presentation was hosted by the Breakers Environmental Learning Center in collaboration with the Marine Science Center.
