MAIN STREET ARCH: Restoration of the historic Main Street Arch is still underway. Crews have poured the footers and lower parts of columns. The fresh concrete must be cured for a few weeks before pouring on top. Stone cutting is ongoing and is approximately 90% finished. The project is still on track for summertime reopening.
BETHUNE POINT PARK PLAYGROUND : The new playground at Bethune Point Park is near completion. Landscaping is finished and crews are making finishing touches. Once finished, the park will be open to the public.
DERBYSHIRE PARKING LOT : Upgrades are underway at Derbyshire Sports Complex! A new parking lot is being paved behind the football field, featuring 105 parking spaces and five handicapped spaces. Crews are currently paving the lot. Once finished, they will stripe and add parking blocks to the spaces. The new lot provides parking for attendees using the football and youth baseball fields.
NORTH STREET SIDEWALK : New six-foot-wide sidewalks with specialized curbs to improve stormwater flow are being installed on North Street from Fulton Street to Byron Avenue. Crews are removing trip hazards due to root intrusion.
