City Manager's Update and On the Move April 1, 2026

U.S. SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (SBA) LOANS The U.S. Small Business Administration is offering low-interest disaster loans to Volusia County small businesses and private nonprofit organizations that experienced financial losses from the frost and freeze between Jan. 23 and Feb. 5. The assistance is available through the SBA’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan program, which provides working capital to eligible small businesses, agricultural cooperatives, nurseries and nonprofits affected by the cold weather, even without physical damage. Funds may be used to cover fixed debts, payroll, accounts payable and other bills. Volusia County is included in the disaster declaration, making local organizations eligible to apply. Applications are available at sba.gov/disaster. For more information, call 800-659-2955 or email disastercustomerservice@sba.gov. The deadline to apply is Nov. 4.
