HALIFAX HARBOR MARINA FISHING PIER REPAIR Project Status: 100% Complete Project Value: $124,956.86
Repairs to the Halifax Harbor Marina fishing pier are complete. Crews rebuilt the damaged 50-foot section, installed a new handrail, fish-cleaning station and channel markers. The pier has reopened to the public. A final walk-through was conducted on Nov. 5, and the project was officially closed out on Nov. 11.

LIFT STATION #7 | SOUTH KEECH STREET Project Value: $1,315,658 | $1,015,000 funded by FDEP grant.
A project kick-off meeting is scheduled Dec. 15 with the contractor who will replace Lift Station No. 7, located on South Keech Street, a low-lying area near the Nova Canal. The station was severely flooded during Hurricanes Ian and Milton, submerging motors and other components. The city secured an FDEP Hurricane Recovery Grant to replace and flood-proof the facility. The new design will elevate all critical equipment and the top of the wetwell 2 feet above the 100- year flood elevation.

BOOKLAND BRIDGE RECONSTRUCTION Project Status: 100% Complete Project Value: $276,090
The Bookland Bridge, connecting City Island to the Riverfront Esplanade, has reached final completion. The project included repairs to approximately 164 linear feet of wooden boardwalk damaged during Hurricane Milton. About 116 feet of the boardwalk lifted during the storm surge and has been reset to the designed elevation, while 48 feet of severely damaged walkway was reconstructed and tied into the existing structure.
All work complies with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.
