The MIDTOWN REDEVELOPMENT AREA is located on the mainland, between the railroad tracks on the east and extending to the west as far as Frederick Avenue to the west, between a little north of George W. Engram Boulevard to Shady Place, as indicated on the provided map in green. The finances of the Midtown Redevelopment Area are recorded in a separate fund in the general ledger of the City of Daytona Beach. This fund is numbered 133: Redevelopment – Midtown. Additionally, a recent debt issuance for the area has not been completely expended. The remaining proceeds of this debt issuance are recorded in a separate fund, number 303 in the general ledger.
