DERBYSHIRE SPORTS COMPLEX 849 Derbyshire Road The Derbyshire Sports Complex spans 32 acres and offers a wide range of sports amenities, including the Harold V. Lucas Jr. Athletic Field. The park features five basketball courts, seven tennis courts, one youth baseball field, one softball field and five soccer fields. Additional amenities include restrooms, picnic tables, pavilion, electronic scoreboards, football field, pickleball court and playground. HALIFAX HARBOR MARINA & PARK 401 S. Beach St. The Halifax Harbor Marina is nestled within a beautiful 55-acre park that features walking paths and scenic views of the Halifax River. Amenities at the marina include restrooms, picnic tables, showers, self-service laundry, concierge-style dock service, pump-out service, dock boxes, boater’s lounge, benches, grills, fishing pier and special events area.

Henry Lee Park is a neighborhood park located across from the Dr. Samuel Butts Youth Archaeological Park. The park offers playground, basketball court and picnic area.

Dr. James E. Huger Sr. Park, located adjacent to the John H. Dickerson Community Center, features a grassy area, sidewalks and benches. The park was recently renovated as part of the Dickerson Recreation Complex. JOE HARRIS PARK 315 Pearl St. Joe Harris Park is a small community park near Bethune-Cookman University and features restrooms, playground, picnic areas, basketball courts and barbecue grills.
